El huerto urbano. The urban garden
Since last year we share a small urban garden in the suburbs of Madrid. At the beginning it was a solution to not having a garden to plant vegetables and fruit in my grandparents village. Then it turned into something even more satisfactory: it is relaxing and a pleasure for our senses to be in touch with the sand, seeds and watering every week, but also a great reward to collect the excellent production that smells and taste like when I was a teenager, or even maybe from my childhood.
What it used to be every day shopping it is now a luxury not available for everyone, specially at big cities.
